This chapter is about your film material: time and size. By the sound of it, you can probably already guess – this is a short chapter!

Report input: Material

Footage on Lockit Script

To start, go to the “report input” tab at the bottom of your screen. Next, click on the little SD card icon at the top of the screen. You have now reached your destination: welcome to Footage!

Here, you summarize how much footage has been recorded that day. Basically, everything you need in your reports when it comes to material.

Add today’s footage – time and size (GB). Add today’s print takes – time and size (GB). And as a last step: Add the size/amount of your sound material.

Sound material can be anything, depending on how you prefer to count it. Maybe you count it as number of SD cards, numbers of GB, MB, USB sticks, or if you are feeling especially hipster: cassettes… we don’t judge.

To be honest, that is basically it. We did not lie when we said it is a short chapter!

Just one last thing worth mentioning: The total goes up automatically (YASSS!) as you can see in our day 2 example.
Here, we had 6 hours of footage time from day 2 – which in total adds up to 11.

Since this was so short, no need to rest. We expect to see you at the next chapter in 3… 2… 1…
