This chapter is about your project settings… a quite self-explanatory and short chapter, but especially for all of our mates out there who are shooting a series: This chapter might be a lifesaver.
Configure the settings

Tada… you've entered the settings menu. By default, you should find yourself in “project settings.”
Take a minute to enter the framework of your project, such as production company, scheduled shooting days, scheduled volume of video data or scheduled raw video material.
Just press on the different tabs to add the info!
Why we advice to do this? If you don’t, you won’t get that shiny sticker for doing your homework! And with shiny sticker we mean: statistics. Jokes aside, this is important for your progress report. It will help you significantly with reporting, calculating the ratios and managing your project.

The last info to fill in might be the most important one: “scheduled length.”
If you are shooting a film for TV and have to stay within that nasty maximum broadcasting time, this will help you.
Once you have added the needed information here, you can easily - after each shooting day - check your progress report for the minutes left in total.
And as we said before: This might be lifesaver for the ones shooting a series – imagine having to calculate how much time you have left for each episode every time… the good ol’ times, right?

By default, you will see a first episode in this list. To edit, click on that default episode 1 and enter a title and the scheduled length. To add more episodes, press the “+ button” on the top right-hand side. If you made a mistake and want to delete episodes, click on the “bin icon” and then on the episodes you want to delete.
That’s it! You (and your boss) can now enjoy those beautiful statistics in the daily progress report.
